Jordan's Ralph Firman is out of this weekend's Italian Grand Prix in Monza.
The 28-year-old has been told not to race because he has a slight inner ear imbalance as a result of the 150mph crash he suffered during practice in Hungary three weeks ago.
Firman, who was forced to sit out the Hungarian race, was advised not to compete following a check up with Professor Sid Watkins in Monza today.
Jordan have not decided who will replace Firman but Hungary's Zsolt Baumgartner is likely to deputise.
