Ireland prop Reggie Corrigan has been ruled out of the World Cup pool A match against Namibia on Sunday, coach Eddie O'Sullivan confirmed today.

O'Sullivan told reporters at the team's training base south of Sydney that Corrigan had fallen on his shoulder during the week and suffered bad bruising.

He said the injury was not serious, however, and that Corrigan would be available for selection for the showdown against Argentina in Adelaide next week.

Marcus Horan will replace Corrigan, joining captain Keith Wood and John Hayes in the front row.
