The Hong Kong government says the SARS virus has killed two more people, including a healthcare worker, and infected two others in the territory.
The latest figures bring the local death toll from Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome to 269 and the cumulative number of cases to 1,728, a hospital official said on Tuesday.
Nine patients were discharged, bringing the total number of discharged patients to 1,285.
On Saturday, Hong Kong reported no new daily SARS infections for the first time since the outbreak of the deadly disease hit the city in March.
