Lleyton Hewitt survived a scare at the Stella Artois Championships today before finally seeing off Belgian Dick Norman 7-6 3-6 6-4.
The Australian, bidding to win an unprecedented fourth successive title, pulled out all the stops to beat Norman in just over two hours.
Hewitt will now play France's Sebastien Grosjean, a 6-1 6-4 winner over Todd Reid, in the quarter-finals.
The Stella Artois Championship is a grass court event used by many players as preparation for Wimbledon.
