The UK Championship snooker final between Stephen Hendry and Matthew Stevens has cued-off at the Barbican in York.
The first nine frames are to be played this afternoon, with the deciding ten, if need be, scheduled for 8pm.
Yesterday, the in-form Hendry easily disposed of England's Ronnie O'Sullivan, winning 9-4 to reach his ninth UK final, across three decades.
He is coming up against the much-fancied Stevens, whose composure saw him weather a Jimmy White revival in Friday's semi-final, which the Welshman won 9-7.
