Baggage handlers and check-in staff at Heathrow airport are to stage a 48-hour strike next month in a row over pay.
Around 1,000 members of the Transport and General Workers Union will walkout on November 2 unless last ditch talks next week resolve the dispute.
Airlines set to be hit by the strike will include Aer Lingus, El Al, Malaysian and Singapore, said the union.
More than nine out of 10 workers backed industrial action in a ballot.
