Endometriosis, a painful condition in which endometrial tissue growsoutside the womb, is one of the most common gynaecological complaints, affecting more than 10 per cent ofwomen.
Taking Control of Endometriosis is the theme of this year's seminar
of the Endometriosis Association of Ireland, at the Burlington Hotel in
Dublin from 1.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Speakers include Prof
Robert Harrison, medical director of Human Assisted Reproduction Ireland, and Dian Shepperson Mills, a British nutritionist. Admission is €5.
