Dinamo Tbilisi coach Ivo Susakis to take charge of Georgia's national team in the run-up totheir next two Euro 2004 Group 10 qualifying matches.
"I am glad I have been given the honour (to head thenational team) and that the leadership of Dynamo Tbilisi didn'toppose this," the Croatian told a news conference on Wednesday.
"I am not the kind of person who likes to do two differentthings at once, but there are certain circumstances I have totake into account."
Alexandre Chivadze quit as Georgia coach on the eve of lastweek's qualifier against Switzerland, but remained in charge forthe match which ended in a goalless draw.
Georgia, with one point from three games, are next scheduledto play Russia in Tbilisi on April 30 and Ireland in Dublin onJune 11. The Russia game may still be switched to a neutralvenue following crowd trouble during the recent home qualifieragainst Ireland.
"Whether or not Susak, who is contracted to Dinamo Tbilisi,continues to work with us, will entirely depend on the resultsof the upcoming games," said Merab Zhordania, president of theFootball Federation of Georgia.
