Gardaí investigating the shooting of man at a flats complex in Dublin last month are to conduct door-to-door inquiries today as part of a fresh appeal for information.
Officers are to visit the Oliver Bond flats where a 42-year-old father of three was shot in the leg when he answered a call to his door at 3 a.m. on July 14th.
As well as interviewing residents, gardaí are to distribute information fliers promoting the Crimestoppers confidential freephone number, 1800 25 00 25.
A spokesperson for Crimestoppers, which offers cash rewards for "useful information", said: "We are extremely anxious to solve this crime. We are appealing for local residents to call us on our confidential Crimestoppers phone line if they can help us at all with our inquiries.
"The service is completely anonymous and untraceable. We will never contact a caller to the line."
