Gardaí in Cork are searching for a for a man who is alleged to have sexually assaulted a teenager in the toilet of a city centre fast food restaurant yesterday.
The man followed two girls - aged 16 and 17 - into the toilet of the McDonalds outlet in Daunt Square at 1.30 p.m. and attempted to assault one of them.
A Garda spokeswoman said the girls managed to fight off the attacker who ran away from the scene.
He is described as being clean cut, of slim build and 5'6'' in height.
The attack was the second such assault in the outlet's toilets in the past four months although there is not believed to be a connection between the two incidents.
Gardaí previously arrested a man in his twenties in connection with thefalse imprisonment and assault of a woman in McDonalds on Daunt Square onDecember 16th.
