Gardaí in Drogheda, Co Louth are investigating allegations a woman was raped and beaten early this morning.
The attack is alleged to have taken place in a flat in the town centre after a party. The woman is being treated in hospital.
Officers in Balbriggan, in north Co Dublin are also investigating an alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl who says she was attacked walking through the town.
