More than 300 workers at a Co Donegal Fruit of the Loom textile plant began a series of one-day strikes today.
The SIPTU-represented staff are protesting at changes to their working conditions which they claim were introduced with out consultation.
About three-quarters of the staff at the Buncranna factory are union members. They claim the proposed changed would reduce their wage entitlements.
At its height Fruit of the Loom employed 2,800 at its Donegal factory.
