France 1 Cameroon 0
(after golden goal extra time)
Thierry Henry's golden goal gave France their second successive Confederations Cup title in an emotional final at the Stade de France tonight.
Henry had threatened to produce the defining moment of drama throughout the night and he proved to be the difference seven minutes into extra-time.
In the end it was an instinctive flick with his right knee which decided the match as he stole into the penalty area and nudged the ball beyond Cameroon goalkeeper Idris Kameni.
