Four people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Co Tyrone yesterday in what the PSNI described as a "brutal and savage" attack.
Mr Andrew Sean Bannon, who was in his 50s, was found dead in his flat in Mullaghmore Drive, Omagh.
Another man who shared the fglat with Mr Bannon was treated in hospital for injuries to his head, arms and legs.
Two men and two women were detained after a number of houses in Omagh were searched. The PSNI said a motive for the attack had yet to be established.
