A call on the Minister of State for the Marine, Mr Eamon Gilmore, to outline the content of his discussions with the British authorities on the dumping of munitions and poison gas off the Irish coast was made yesterday.
Mr Pat "The Cope" Gallagher MEP (FF) asked if Ireland has been given a firm commitment that the British would examine the munitions dumps off the coast of Ireland other than the Beaufort Dyke, including arms dumps off the coast of Donegal, where British devices were washed up last November.
