"We are into murals, not the illegal stuff," stated "Rask" aka Darren Finnegan, graffiti artist and organiser of a festival in Drogheda that has again attracted some of America's biggest names in underground art.

Over the weekend the artists involved have created yet another elaborate and eye-catching mural on the supporting walls of the town's Bridge of Peace.

The festival started nearly 10 years ago and Darren Finnegan attributes its popularity to "the unique atmosphere we have here".

He said the bridge was the main crossing point over the Boyne, and the symbolism of people from both sides of the Border working together on creating a mural visible to the thousands that crossed it every day had added to its uniqueness.
