Fears over the fitness of David Beckham were allayed this morning after the England captain resumed training with his Real Madrid team-mates.
Beckham missed Wednesday's 3-1 Champions League victory over UEFA Cup holders Porto with a foot problem.
He suffered severe inflammation to his right foot during Real's 2-0 league defeat at Valencia last weekend.
The injury cast doubt over his availability for the Euro 2004 qualifier with Turkey on October 11th but England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson will be boosted by today's developments.

Beckham is likely to play in Real's league match against Espanyol on Sunday before linking up with his England colleagues next week.
