Previous employment: sales/reservation assistant at Shannon Travel Ltd, Limerick, British European Airways, Shannon Airport; administrative assistant, Medi-Kleen Ltd.
Currently: director and company secretary of Fleming Medical Ltd., manufacturers and distributors of a wide range of hospital and pharmacy products. The company employs 25 people and has a turnover in the region of £3million.
Research interests: entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education. This summer (July 2001, Florida, internationalising entrepreneurship education and training conference) was awarded "best academic paper" for a paper, co-authored with Wilberforce Owusu-Ansah), entitled: "The impact of entrepreneurship education on business venturing: a longitudinal survey of Irish graduates."
