Humphrey Kelleher has been installed as the new Dublin senior hurling manager, succeeding Marty Morris who stepped down after just 10 months in the job.
The former Waterford hurler, who now resides in the capital, has previously managed Dublin club side Naomh Mearnog.
Kelleher's first game in charge will be against Wexford in the Walsh Cup in January.
Wexford have finally ended their lengthy search for a football manager with the appointment of former Laois star Pat Roe.
Roe, takes up his post immediately, replacing Dom Twomey who resigned after just one year in charge due to work commitments.
After a five-month search during which many well known names were mentioned, the three Wexford selectors of Ger Halligan, Declan Carthy and Michael Furlong decided to give Roe the responsibility of leading the county into Division 1 football for the first time.
Roe enjoyed a two-year stint with Carlow that ended last year at the end of the championship campaign. The highlight of Roe's time with the county was winning the O'Byrne Cup senior football tournament for the first time.
Roe will meet with Wexford County Board Officers on Thursday night to discuss a time frame for his management.
