Death threat to prisoner claimed

The Ulster Democratic Party is claiming that a death threat has been made against a leading UDA prisoner in the Maze, Johnny Adare. The UDP leader, Mr Gary McMichael, said that the RUC had visited Mr Adare in the jail and warned him of the threat, which he said came from a dissident republican group. He called for an immediate search of republican wings.
