Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr has named his 23-man squad for next month's crucial Euro 2004 qualifiers against Albania and Georgia.
Kerr keeps the faith with Glen Crowe after running the rule over the Bohemians striker during last week's five day training get-together. Kerr previously used Crowe as a second-half substitute in last month's friendly win over Norway.
Ireland will be without the services of Fulham's Steve Finnan who has failed to recover from the pelvic injury that kept him out of the training camp. Likewise, Andy O'Brien, who needs further time to recover after corrective surgery on a broken nose.
West Brom 'keeper Joe Murphy is the only debutante in a squad that includes Celtic's Colin Healy and Hibs' stopper Nick Colgan, who were both absent last week due to club commitments.
Ireland face Albania on June 7th before hosting the Georgians to Lansdowne Road four days later. After four games, Kerr's side are bottom of the Group 10 table, level on points (four) with Georgia. However, with recent results going their way qualification remains a realistic target and six points from the next two games would put Ireland firmly back in the hunt for a play-off spot at the very least.
