A London court has ordered that a Wexford man wanted on charges of dangerous driving causing death be extradited to Ireland.
Mr Michael Furlong (26) from Enniscorthy, was caught after he won £100,000 on a TV game show. Viewers recognised him as a wanted man when he appeared on the Channel 4 show, Boys and Girls.
Bow Street Magistrates Court in central London issued the extradition order after a hearing on Saturday morning.
It is alleged that Mr Furlong caused the death of 15-year-old Natalie Freeman by dangerous driving and that he went on the run last December after failing to appear at Bagenalstown District Court.
Mr Matthew Butt, appearing for Mr Furlong, indicated his client would not appeal against the order and further arrangements for the extradition would be made tomorrow.
No date has been fixed for Mr Furlong's return to Ireland.
