Church demands Pope delay visit

Kiev - Ukraine's Orthodox Church yesterday demanded that Pope John Paul II postpone a scheduled June visit, but the Vatican said it would go ahead despite an Orthodox threat to break ties amid a festering row over the control of parishes.
