One of four men accused of an attempted multi-million-dollar fraud has been found guilty of handling a forged blank bank draft at the offices of a Dublin finance company. The jury at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court found English national Raymond Folkes guilty of handling the forged bank draft at the offices of World Wide Clearing and Finance at 126 Lower Baggot Street in March 1999.

The jury failed to reach a verdict on other charges and was sent to a hotel overnight. It will resume its deliberations today on the remaining counts against Folkes (38), of Dunstans Road, London, and the three other accused: Christian Obumneme (35), Prussia Street, Dublin; Obiora Uzo dike (29), Oakcourt Avenue, Palmerstown, Co Dublin; and Thomas Anthony O'Brien (61), Kent Walk, London;
