The Taoiseach and British Prime Minister have continued their efforts to move the political process forward by holding a telephone conversation this morning.
Speaking on The Dunphy Showon TV3 he said: "I think Sinn Féin will say we can do no more, I think the IRA will be reluctant to do any more."
The announcement of the November 26th elections last week came after weeks of negotiations between Sinn Fein and the Ulster Unionists, as well as the Irish and British Governments.
