Leicester boss Micky Adams was forced into wholesale changes for his side's Walkers Stadium clash against Leeds.
Adams, with his side still searching for their first victory of the season after two draws and two defeats, named just six players in the line-up who started the 3-1 defeat at Aston Villa over a fortnight ago.
Striker Les Ferdinand and midfielder Keith Gillespie were out with knee and ankle injuries respectively, while Riccardo Scimeca and Alan Rogers were suspended.
With Steve Howey on the bench, Adams brought in Gerry Taggart, Craig Hignett, Lilian Nalis, Frank Sinclair and Marcus Bent, the latter on loan from Ipswich for the season.
Leeds boss Peter Reid, meanwhile, made two changes to the side which recorded their first win of the season at Middlesbrough 16 days ago. With skipper Dominic Matteo out after sustaining an ankle injury in training on Friday, Reid reshuffled his defence.
Matteo's absence allowed Brazil World Cup-winner Roque Junior, on loan for the rest of the season from AC Milan, to make his debut at the heart of the defence alongside Zoumana Camara.
With Ian Harte out of form, Didier Domi was drafted in at left-back, while there were places on the bench for Cameroon international Salomon Olembe and Scott Carson, the 18-year-old promoted following the departure of Nigel Martyn to Everton.
Leicester: Walker, Sinclair, Thatcher, Taggart, Curtis, Nalis, Hignett, Izzet, Scowcroft, Dickov, Bent. Subs: Coyne, Howey, Stewart, Deane, Impey.
