The wife and son of convicted terrorist Johnny "Mad Dog" Adair appeared in court in the UK yesterday on drugs charges.

The wife and son of convicted terrorist Johnny "Mad Dog" Adair appeared in court in the UK yesterday on drugs charges.

Mr Jonathan Adair (19), of Horwich, Bolton, Greater Manchester, appeared at Bolton Crown Court charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine and supply of Class A drugs.

Mrs Gina Adair (37) is charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine.

They appeared with two men, a woman and a 13-year-old boy, all from Bolton.

Mr Adair was remanded in custody to appear at Bolton Crown Court on February 22nd for a plea and directions hearing. Mrs Adair was granted bail and will appear on the same date.

Mrs Adair and her four children moved to Bolton in February with a number of other families to escape loyalist in-fighting in Belfast. - (PA)
