CO WICKLOW: FROM €260,000:SHERRY FITZGERALD New Homes is handling sales at Holywell, a scheme of apartments and houses in the village of Kilcoole, Co Wicklow.
Prices start at €260,000 for one-bed apartments in Holywell and go up to €355,000 for three-bed terraced houses.
The scheme is taking shape on Sea Road. So far around 100 houses have been built, with a total of 180 envisioned for the site.
The scheme was first launched back in 2007 and prices have come back substantially since then. At the original launch three-bed houses were priced around €500,000, now a slightly smaller three-bed product is priced at €355,000. Two-bed duplexes are priced from €295,000 and two-bed townhouses from €315,000.
The scheme is being developed by Kingscroft Developments and design is by Paul Duignan Associates. Previous schemes by Kingscroft include the Hastings in Balbriggan and Sandford Woods in Swords.
Two showhouses will be on view this weekend to give potential buyers a flavour of what is on offer in Holywell.
So far buyers in phase one have been a mix of people from the surrounding area in Wicklow and Dubliners.
