Portmarnock: Miles of sandy beaches and quality golf courses are some of the attractions at Seabrook Manor, reports Justin Comiskey
A new phase of 40 two-bedroom apartments at Seabrook Manor in Portmarnock is being launched by joint selling agents O'Farrell Cleere of Malahide and Hooke & MacDonald with prices from €295,000.
The first phase of 70 apartments at Seabrook Manor were sold off the plans last spring and the units currently being released coincide with the opening of the first showunits.
Situated opposite Portmarnock DART station on Station Road, Seabrook Manor is a development of predominantly two-bedroom apartments of 76-106 sq m (820-1,140 sq ft). The starting price of €295,000 also includes a car-parking space. Standard features include gas-fired central heating, fitted wardrobes, fitted kitchens, oak internal doors and a video intercom system.
Seabrook Manor is convenient to the villages of Howth, Sutton, Malahide and Portmarnock. There is a vast amount of leisure facilities close at hand, particularly for golfers and water sports enthusiasts, while the seemingly endless miles of sandy beaches nearby are an excellent choice to get away from it all.
Designed by Fenton Simons Architects, the apartments are designed to be bright and spacious - most have en suites with the main bedroom and many have good-sized balconies. The apartment blocks - mainly of three storeys plus a penthouse level - are arranged around a central water feature and a landscaped courtyard.
Seabrook Manor is the latest development from Barina Construction whose most recent development - Larch Hill in Santry - is a 300-apartment scheme that has been almost sold out. Show apartments at Seabrook Manor are open today and tomorrow from noon to 3 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
