Shopfront: Cow's Lane in Temple Bar (the new walkway behind Parliament Street) has become a bit of a haven for interiors shops.
Joining shops such as Haus Kitchen, Peter Johnson, Twentieth Century Furniture and 2 Cool Design, Janet Doyle and Marcus O'Riain have relocated from Francis Street and opened a shop called Retrospect.
They deal in pieces from the turn of the century to the 1960s and sell some furniture - dining tables, side tables and armchairs - but mostly accessories.
Artform glass (brightly coloured vases in organic shapes), 1930s tea sets, wall clocks and other bits and pieces.
A lot of is kitsch and to be honest, not always in great condition or great quality, but then prices aren't too steep either.
The best things may be lighting: 1960s mushroom lamps with Perspex shades, an Arc lamp (large sweep of metal tubing in a semi circle shape) and lots of 1930s ceiling and desk lights, such as this chrome and glass one for €140.
