Co Roscommon: Sherry FitzGerald Farrell is launching the Tarmon Harbour scheme in Termonbarry, Co Roscommon this Saturday with prices starting at €169,000.
Tarmon Harbour, which is located in a Rural Renewal Tax Incentive Area that offers substantial tax benefits to both investors and owner occupiers, is situated around a 90-berth marina development on the banks of the river Shannon that also includes 54 residential units.
Twenty-six three-bedroom townhouses of 146 sq m (1,573 sq ft) are available in this phase priced from €295,000 to €315,000. Built on three levels, each townhouse has a double-height ceiling and viewing area over the lounge while the L-shaped configuration of townhouses around the marina affords water views and south and west aspects.
There are also four apartment blocks of two storeys each that contain three apartments per floor.
One-bedroom apartments here of 56 sq m (606 sq ft) cost from €169,000 to €179,000 and two-bedroom apartments of 79 sq m (845 sq ft) are priced from €195,000 to €205,000. All apartments have fireplaces and many have water views.
Tarmon Harbour is adjacent to Termonbarry village, a five-minute drive from Longford town and within a half-hour of Mullingar, Athlone and Carrick-on-Shannon.
The marina, which will be serviced with pump-out stations, water fuel and electricity, will offer berths on a leasehold basis and its jetties are 40 foot long.
Crosmac Ltd is developing the Tarmon Harbour scheme while Michael McNamara Architectural Partnership has designed the development. Construction is expected to start shortly with completion dates from next summer.
A scale model of the development will be on view this Saturday at the official launch at 2 p.m. in Crosby's Pub, Termonbarry.
