Dublin 15Last year, Castlethorn netted sales of €11.5 million at the launch weekend of its Woodbrook development in Castleknock, Dublin 15. The success story is expected to continue this Saturday when the company opens three show apartments to launch the final phase of 80 apartments.

Leahy Property Consultants will be taking bookings for three different types of two-bedroom apartments which will be ready to move into from next December.

A two-bedroom ground floor apartment with 77.5 sq m (828 sq ft) and a large terrace will be priced from €258,000.

Homes on the first and second floors with 67.5 sq m (726 sq ft) and private balconies will range from €266,000 to €271,000 while those looking for extra space will probably opt for units of 96 sq m (1,030 sq ft) on the third floor which will start at €310,000.

These homes will have the added bonus of two private balconies.

When completed, the Woodbrook scheme will have a total of 276 homes in a mix which includes apartments, townhouses and duplex units to cater for everyone from first-time buyers, families, "empty nesters" and investors.

The development was designed by architects Brazil and Lohan and is based on five courtyards where occupants share a landscaped private open space.

It will be all two-bedroom apartments in the final phase. Internally, the apartments are practical, comfortable and stylish-qualities that which should appeal to buyers looking for a little extra for their money. They will be ready to move into without much fuss because they will come fully-carpeted with a full range of white goods including fridge-freezer, oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine and extractor fan.
