The application includes the provision of some 1,344 car-parking spaces, a 593 sq m (6,383 sq ft) local shopping and health centre, and the construction of an entrance from St Margaret's road and Jamestown Road and a single carriageway connecting Balbutcher Lane to St Margaret's Road.

Bovale Developments is also looking for outline planning permission for a 1,020 sq m (10,979 sq ft) creche.

Ballymun Regeneration and Dublin City Council has control over a small area at the south-east of the 40-acre site, where it is believed houses will be built fronting Balbutcher Lane.
