Christies Commercial is seeking offers over £120,000 (€152,370) for the lease of the Duffy food and wine off-licence at 92 Terenure Road East, Dublin 6. The rent is £22,750 (€28,886) per annum. Philip Owens of the agency says that while the value of off-licences has been falling since deregulation, well-located businesses in the Dublin suburbs were still in strong demand.
In Temple Bar, the same agency has secured over £60,000 (€76,184) for the lease of the CafΘ Inn on Parliament Street. It can seat 20 diners and is rented at £10,000 (€12,697) per annum.
