What's on your rider?A case of Smirnoff Ice, a bottle of fake tan and some waxing strips.

What would be on your fantasy rider?Cosmopolitans, a tanning bed and a personal waxer? Waxist? Waxsueuse?

What's your pre-gig ritual/routine?Drink two glasses of milk upside down/ dance with a dwarf and spin him around/play swingball for half an hour/do it all again and have a shower.

How do you get to the gig – limo, taxi, walking?Get a pink Playboy limo with 20 of my friends and shout out the window at everyone the whole way through town.

What's the best gig you've been to, and why?The Pope in Phoenix Park. He had incredible stage presence.

And the worst?The Pope in Phoenix Park. He didn't play anything I knew and appeared to be speaking in another language at times. And there were no pyrotechnics.

Ecologically speaking, are you closer to Radiohead or Motorhead?Brayhead.

Who is the most famous person to have shown up at one of your gigs?Barack Obama. Well, at least I think it was him. He didn't stay long, looked uncomfortable. Maybe it wasn't him.

Most embarrassing on-stage moment?Fell off the stage in Cavan once. They had covered up the hole in the stage with some carpet. It fooled me and, indeed, made a fool out of me.

What's your crowd-pleasing number?42.

Chatting between songs – good or bad, and why?Good, of course. How else am I supposed to get across my radical political views and warp young impressionable minds?

Groupies – would you?Is this a rhetorical question?

Have you a special stage wardrobe? I have a very special solid oak wardrobe that comes on tour with us everywhere, the roadies hate carrying it, it weighs a ton. I use it to go on and off the stage CS Lewis style.

Any useful stage tips?Carpet over a small area of the stage is suspicious. Always check underneath for holes.

What's the worst thing ever thrown at you?An insincere compliment and a jibe about my mother.

Who's invited to your aftershow party?Just my mom and some really hot chicks.
