Sir Paul McCartney has allegedly given a thumbs-up to a mooted collaboration with Bob Dylan.

The ex-Beatle said that one of his ambitions was to work with the famed troubadour, in an interview last year. Earlier this month, Dylan reportedly told a journalist that he would be open to the idea of a duet. "They both want this to work out," a source told a British newspaper.
