Powering through her Whokill album (and throwing in one new song) Merrill Garbus is a unique and mesmerising performer. Using two snare drums, loop pedals and ukulele, with vocals that whisper ( RiotRiot)or ululate ( Gangsta), Garbus is a one-woman polyphonic wonder.
