MUSIC NEWS:The extensive list of bands and artists that will play the Body & Soul area of Electric Picnic has been announced, as well as the line-up for a new area of the festival, the Bacardi Get Together arena.

This year, there will be four stages at the Body & Soul village: the main stage, the Love Letter Stage, the Peace Pagoda and the newest addition to the area, the Earth Ship. Amongst the additions to the fray are Canadian electronica band Austra, Irish singer- songwriter James Vincent McMorrow and Berlin trio Brandt Brauer Flick, who also played the dedicated Body and Soul festival earlier this year.

Also on the bill is Mercury Music Prize nominee Ghostpoet, Australian banjoist C W Stoneking, and Barcelona-based DJ John Talabot. They’ll be joined by a strong Irish contingent – Patrick Kelleher and His Cold Dead Hands, Tieranniesaur, Halves, Solar Bears, Visionair, Donal Dineen, The Barley Mob, The Gorgeous Colours, Katie Kim, Spilly Walker, Si Schroeder and more. Scottish DJ Mylo will play the dance-oriented Bacardi Get Together Arena, along with big names from the clubbing world like Alex Metric, Horse Meat Disco, Russ Chimes, Mighty Mouse, Disco Bloodbath and Retro/Grade.
