South London buzz-band trio Chew Lips (they've been tipped everywhere from The Ticketto NMEvia Nylon, The Fly, Qand, er, Grazia) is the kind of electronic dance-pop that it's a very good idea to like. Their brand of svelte electro has peppered the lives of supportive UK DJs such as Lauren Laverne and Steve Lamacq, while their debut album, Unicorn, released at the start of the year on the achingly hip Parisian label Kitsune, picked up startlingly good reviews ( Qmagazine described it as "a filler-free, hook-heavy debut that joins the dots between Noisettes and Yeah Yeah Yeahs").

Interesting fact: Chew Lips' name comes from a character in Brendan Behan's The Borstal Boy.
