Mount Kimbie’s Dominic Maker and Kai Campos have only two EPs to their credit, but there’s more than enough going on in them to rave about. After all, both releases for Scuba’s Hotflush label contain tracks that sound like music from another time and dimension.

While both Maybesand Sketch on Glasshave been tagged dubstep, tweaking bassbins is just the tip of the iceberg. Hugely atmospheric, emotional and neo-classical, Mount Kimbie's productions possess a width and a depth which puts them far ahead their peers.

Aside from a live set from Mount Kimbie on the Stage as part of On the Record Presents, this Mudathon also has a Wobble to-do in the basement. The homegrown bass warriors will have live sets from Manus Goan and T-Woc, as well as Noid the Droid and residents Don Rosco and Richie !kaboogie on the decks.
