The Margin takes a keen interest in matters geographical and was particularly interested in the nice map on page two of the Tullow Oil annual report. The map shows Europe, Africa, and most of Asia, with the countries where Tullow operates shaded in red.

Their cartographer clearly took great pains to make sure that Pakistan, Senegal, Yemen and Syria were the correct shape and in the right position. However, there was a rather large bloomer closer to home. Tullow highlighted its gas interests in "the UK", but only Britain was shaded red, white Northern Ireland was the same light green as the Republic.
