ALTHOUGH THE ECB is expected to keep interest rates on hold when it meets this week, markets will be closely watching the press conference following the meeting for hints on the council’s view on recent improvements in leading economic indicators.
Closer to home, the Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan is due to appear before the Oireachtas finance committee this afternoon to answer questions about the draft Nama Bill.
Meanwhile, Liam Carroll returns to the High Court tomorrow with his latest bid to get an examiner appointed to his development group Zoe.
