In current times of uncertainty, Irish businesses are faced with many challenges including supply chain, inflation, and energy

When the Green Awards 2023 winners are announced, we’ll find out how Irish businesses are managing to keep sustainability front and centre when assailed on all sides by challenging circumstances. From war in the Ukraine, to rising energy costs, to supply chain crunches, there are so many factors that one fears will push sustainability down the corporate agenda.

However if the level of award submissions are any indicator, then, according to Darragh Feiritéar, head of judging, there is little fear that this is the case.

According to Feiritéar, “Entries are ahead both by the number of companies entering and the total number of projects entered. It shows that Irish businesses are investing time and resources to get their green credentials out there and drive engagement with clients, colleagues and stakeholders across the sustainability agenda.”

Right now all the entries are in and the submission are going through a shortlisting process.

And when Ireland green business community gathers on February 21st, 2023 for the awards, it estimated that more than 500 of Irelands leading organisations will convene at the Green Awards 2023 gala ceremony, to reflect on their work, share insights and celebrate excellence.
